Follicular Lymphoma: On the Road to Cure Educational Symposium
Hope for Lymphoma, Rush University Cancer Center, and Rush University Medical Center commemorated World Lymphoma Awareness Day by hosting the “Follicular Lymphoma: On the Road to Cure” Educational Symposium on September 15th. The symposium, chaired by Dr. Stephanie Gregory, originated from Chicago and featured seven world leading lymphoma experts. Presentations and panel discussions covered the follicular lymphoma waterfront – providing basic and advanced information about the disease as well as current treatment options and novel and emerging treatments. Patients’ probing questions received insightful and detailed responses from the faculty.areceived a comprehensive set of written materials on follicular lymphoma. In addition, those who attended at Rush received copies of the latest edition of our “Battling and Beating Cancer – The Cancer Survival Book”
More than 30,000 people participated remotely from all across the globe by web, computer, mobile applications, social media and through the broadcast on the "Battling and Beating Cancer" Radio Show on the Blog Talk Radio Network. The symposium was aired on CAN TV in Chicago.
